The Single Barrel Slush Machine is intended for smaller parties and events where one slush flavour is sufficient. The hire package includes the machine, one 10-litre drum of pre-mixed slush in your chosen flavour, cups and straws. It can be added to a birthday, communion, confirmation, school occasion, barbecue or family event in Drogheda, Louth, Meath and Balbriggan.
What Arrives with the Machine?
The package brings together the principal items required to serve slush drinks:
- One commercial-grade single-barrel slush machine
- One 10-litre drum of pre-mixed slush
- One available flavour of your choice
- Slush cups
- Slush straws
Confirm the number of cups and straws included, together with the expected serving quantity, when booking. If the event attendance is higher or guests may return for additional drinks, ask whether further stock and serving supplies will be required.
When One Barrel Is the Better Fit
A twin machine can be useful when two flavours are important, but it may be more equipment than a smaller party needs. The single-barrel format keeps the choice simple and requires only one flavour to be selected before the event.
It can work particularly well when slush is one of several refreshments rather than the only drink available. The machine may also suit a compact serving point where there is insufficient working room for two barrels.
Customers organising a larger occasion or wanting two simultaneous flavour choices can compare the Twin Barrel Slush Machine. Both options can be viewed with the other fun food machines.
Before Guests Arrive
Choose the serving position before delivery. The machine needs a firm, level surface near a suitable electrical supply, with enough room for the operator, cups and straws.
A 6ft timber trestle table can provide a separate surface for napkins, empty cups and completed drinks. Do not crowd the machine itself with decorations, gifts or unrelated event equipment.
The serving area should be outside busy entrances and principal walkways. If a queue forms, guests must still be able to move around the venue without approaching electrical cables or the operator’s working side.
While the Slush Is Being Served
Place the cups and straws on the guest-facing side while keeping the controls and working area under adult management. Younger children should not operate the machine without appropriate assistance.
Serving drinks at planned points can reduce queues. For example, slush may be offered when guests arrive, after food or during a scheduled break in the entertainment. This also makes it easier to monitor the remaining mixture and supplies.
Clean spills promptly and provide a nearby bin for used cups and straws. Drinks should not be left on grass, seating or game equipment where they may be knocked over.
If the Party Includes an Inflatable
The slush station must remain separate from bouncy castles, bounce and slide bouncy castles, slides and obstacle courses. Children should finish their drinks before entering or returning to an inflatable.
Do not place the machine, its queue or electrical cable within an inflatable’s anchoring area, blower position, entrance, exit or safety mats. At a larger venue, a clear boundary between refreshments and active equipment makes supervision easier.
Using a Gazebo as a Serving Point
A 10ft x 10ft Gazebo may provide a defined refreshment area where the proposed position, power connection and weather conditions are suitable. The machine should sit on a stable surface and remain protected according to the operating instructions.
Larger covered arrangements are available through marquees and gazebos. Furniture, linen and other useful additions can be selected from party extras.
Keep the entrance to any gazebo or marquee clear. Guests need room to approach the serving point, receive their drinks and move away without entering the operator’s workspace.
Add a Snack Beside the Slush Station
The 8oz Popcorn Machine can provide a portioned snack alongside the single slush flavour. If both machines are hired, each needs sufficient preparation room and safe access to the required power supply.
A combined station should be managed by enough adults to operate the equipment and serve guests without leaving either machine unattended. Food preparation supplies should remain separate from used cups, waste and personal belongings.
At the End of the Event
The machine must remain in its installed position until SuperBounce returns. Do not dismantle it, move it over uneven ground or transport it to another part of the venue.
Standard delivery takes place between 8am and 12pm. Collection is normally arranged between 7pm and 10pm from 1 June to 30 September and between 6pm and 9pm from 1 October to 31 May.
If the venue has a fixed closing time, advise SuperBounce before booking. Full weekend hire may also be available by prior arrangement.
